当劳动遇到美食

On Friday, December 25th, we had a special Christmas Party with grade 1. We met at 6 pm at the school canteen. I was amazed by the amount of food we had. Girls prepared some delicious and beautiful cakes. Lynn’s mother cooked a very delicious soup. Chesley prepared fried chicken. We had also some Thai food prepared by Brad’s wife and Dutch potatoes cooked by Thomas. It is difficult to mention all the people that prepare something for this party but I can admit that everything was delicious. Santa Claus also came to the party and he gave us Christmas presents.
I really enjoyed this time and I was happy to get to know some parents that were also present during the party. I tried to talk in Chinese with them but I guess they couldn’t understand me ;-) I think that this kind of activities let us get to know each other and share some special moments.
